Charter Medical Centre Hospital is proud to introduce its Community Health Outreach Program, an initiative designed to bring quality healthcare services closer to underserved communities across Bulawayo. With a strong focus on preventive care, health education, and chronic disease management, the program will provide screenings, consultations, and wellness support at no cost to participants.

Over the next six months, our outreach team—consisting of doctors, nurses, optometrists, and health educators—will visit local schools, churches, and community centres. Services will include blood pressure checks, diabetes risk assessments, dental hygiene education, basic eye exams, and maternal health guidance for expecting mothers.

“Our mission extends beyond the hospital walls,” said Dr. Magumise, Chief Medical Officer. “We believe that access to health information and preventive services should be a right, not a privilege. This program is our way of bringing that belief to life in a very practical and personal way.”

The outreach campaign is not only about providing care, but also empowering residents with knowledge. Each visit will include interactive workshops on nutrition, family planning, hygiene, and managing stress—tailored to the needs of each community.

We invite corporate partners, NGOs, and volunteers to join us in making this campaign a lasting success. Together, we can build a healthier Bulawayo—one community at a time.
